Work Examples

This is an example of the other types of content I had to produce for GradSmart. I managed their social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn) daily, engaging with customers through posts and story content.

Going Above And Beyond

An advert designed for TUI travel. The picture was taken by myself when I went on holiday a few years ago.  The copy takes into consideration TUI's original sustainability slogan ‘Better Holidays, Better World’; I decided to turn this into a hashtag, as a marketing strategy to get people to follow their environmental journey via social media. I then added my own slogan design: ‘Going Above and Beyond’, to connect the image of the plane flying above clouds in the image.  The slogan, in tandem with the hashtag, implies that TUI  will go above and beyond to achieve a more sustainable future for air travel.

This is a campaign idea I have designed for Oreo.  The idea is to encourage people to bake and have fun with Oreos. It could be targeted for the lockdown period, when people need more things to do at home. The picture was taken by myself during lockdown, and yes, I did bake this magnificent Oreo cake. 

More Than Just An Oreo

Admittedly, I'm not sure who had heard of Zoom before lockdown ensued. So why not make it the poster ad for all COVID-19 catch ups? I've played upon the commonly known phrase 'social distancing' in this design, suggesting that even in the time of Coronavirus, Zoom meetings can make you feel closer to your loved ones. In this sense, Zoom helps you get closer when the world is ordering you to stay distanced. The message says that Zoom allows you to tackle the restrictions, it's on your side, it does you a favour.

To the left is a video I designed and created for GradSmart's Instagram Reel. Adhering to the company guidelines and brand colours, I was to create a 'talking heads' video based on career advice. 

This was part of the first piece of work I did for GradSmart. I put myself forward to take on one of their new tasks that no one had done before. I took initiative and became an integral part of the company's advertising campaign for their newly launched personality test. 

I was responsible for creating 18 different pieces of copy to describe the RIASEC personality tests. I then created the designs using Adobe Photoshop, adhering to the GradSmart company colours and brand assets.

A Fairy Merry Christmas

This is a Christmas ad campaign I have designed for Fairy liquid. I have used the green Fairy liquid bottle to replicate a Christmas tree, and bubbles to replicate baubles. This insinuates that Fairy liquid is just as an essential household item as the Christmas tree is at Christmas. I have continued this theme of the Fairy liquid being a fundamental aspect of the Christmas home by creating a half rhyme with the words 'fairy' and 'merry', thus reflecting the traditional phrase 'wishing you a very merry Christmas', and instead replacing it with 'wishing you a fairy merry Christmas'. The 'wish' aspect was something I also felt was essential to the Fairy ad, with Fairies typically making wishes come true.
